Stephen has over 25 years principal investment and private equity experience with a personal track record of successful deals and investment returns, establishing and operating funds, implementing good governance and holding senior roles on Fund Investment Committees. A Founding Partner of Actis, a leading private equity investor with US$8bn AUM, he specialises in bringing financial rigour and oversight to investments and impact strategies.   

Stephen has an MBA from Strathclyde University and is a member of CIMA, and over 40 years of international, financial, accounting and senior management experience across diverse industry groups.
